Janelle F. Allen is an associate in the Trusts and Estates Group. Janelle’s practice covers estate planning, probate and trust administration, and conservatorships.
While completing her law degree at University of San Francisco School of Law she served as Articles Editor for the U.S.F. Law Review. Prior to joining Lakin Spears, she was an Associate with firms in Millbrae and San Mateo, California.
Janelle counsels fiduciaries and beneficiaries in all stages of trust and estate administrations. Her estate planning practice involves revocable trusts, wills, durable powers of attorney and advance health care directives. She also assists clients in establishing conservatorships for individuals who have lost capacity or have a developmental disability and counsels conservators regarding their ongoing fiduciary duties and requirements under California law.
Janelle is an Executive Committee Member of the San Mateo County Bar Association, Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Section and a Board Member of the San Mateo County Barristers Section.
