Julia Kreitzer is an associate in the Family Law Group and has practiced family law exclusively since 2007. Prior to joining Lakin Spears in 2020, Julia was an associate at a boutique law firm in San Francisco.
Ms. Kreitzer received her J.D. from the Honors Lawyering Program at Golden Gate University School of Law in 2007 with a certificate of specialization in litigation. While completing her law degree, she served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Magistrate Judge Elizabeth Laporte at the United States Federal Court for the Northern District of California and to the Honorable Judge Donald Sullivan at the San Francisco Unified Family Court. She was a member of the Mock Trial Competition Team.
Ms. Kreitzer provides litigation, mediation, and consulting services to individuals regarding complex custody and financial matters. She completed her mediation training with Gary Friedman and Catherine Conner through the Center for Understanding in Conflict. She also served as a volunteer mediator at the San Mateo County Family Court and has also participated as a mentee in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers mentorship program since 2011.
Ms. Kreitzer enjoys yoga, cooking, and outdoor adventures with family and friends.
