Tanya E. Prioste is a partner in the Family Law Group and a Certified Family Law Specialist, certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. Her practice is devoted exclusively to family law. In addition to doing traditional divorce representation, Ms. Prioste is a mediator, acts as collaborative counsel in Collaborative Divorce cases and as a consulting counsel to mediations. She also prepares and negotiates premarital and postmarital agreements.

Tanya is rated AV® Preeminent™ by Martindale Hubbell.  She has been selected by her peers as among the top family lawyers in Northern California every year since 2004 and was named one of the top 100 lawyers across all practice areas in 2010, 2013, 2014, and 2015 (as surveyed by Super Lawyers Magazine and published in the Northern California Super Lawyers Magazine). In addition, Tanya was named one of Northern California’s “Top 50 Women Lawyers” across all practice areas in 2009, 2010, 2012 – 2016.

Tanya is on the Board of Directors for Collaborative Practice California.

Tanya has presented on numerous family law topics, including premarital agreements, reimbursement rights, transmutation and separate property contribution issues, fiduciary duties, and custody move-aways.
