Jean M. Kohler

Jean M. Kohler is an associate in the Trusts & Estates Group and specializes in estate and trust litigation, estate planning and the administration of decedents' estates.

Prior to joining LAKIN•SPEARS, Ms. Kohler was an associate in the Estates and Trusts department of Foley & Lardner in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Ms. Kohler relocated to the Bay Area in March 2003, where she continues her estate planning practice, focusing on the preparation of wills, revocable trusts, durable powers of attorney and advance health care directives. Ms. Kohler also handles the settlement of court-supervised probate proceedings and non-court-supervised trust estate matters.

Ms. Kohler’s litigation practice focuses on the representation of fiduciaries and beneficiaries in the following types of cases:
