Jean
M. Kohler Ms. Kohler began her practice in the Trusts & Estates Department at Foley & Lardner in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Ms. Kohler relocated to the Bay Area in March 2003 where she continues her estate planning practice, focusing on the preparation of wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, durable powers of attorney and advance health care directives. Ms. Kohler's practice also includes estate and trust litigation, the administration of decedents' estates (including both trust and probate estates), and conservatorship and guardianship matters. Ms. Kohler’s litigation practice focuses on the representation of fiduciaries and beneficiaries in the following types of cases:
Ms. Kohler is an active member of the Silicon Valley Bar Association and San Mateo County Bar Association and is currently serving a three year term on the board of Palo Alto Community Child Care, an organization that partners with parents and regional agencies to provide quality, professional and accessible childhood care and education in the Palo Alto community. Ms. Kohler was named a Northern California Rising Star for 2009 and 2010 by Super Lawyers Magazine. Ms. Kohler is licensed to practice law in California
and Wisconsin.
