Jessica F. Arner

Jessica Arner is a member of our Family Law Group and has practiced family law exclusively since 1978. Ms. Arner has been certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization as a family law specialist since 1983.

Ms. Arner joined LAKIN•SPEARS in 1979 and has developed a recognized expertise in child custody. Her main focus is complex custody disputes in both San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties.

Ms. Arner is a past contributor to the California Continuing Education of the Bar (CEB) family law treatise and the author of a chapter in the 2006 CEB book, "Child Custody Litigation and Practice". She has lectured for CEB and other organizations on child custody.

She has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America since 1997. Ms. Arner has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County for over 20 years and served as its president from 1995-1997.
