A. VandenBerg Mr. VandenBerg is a Certified Specialist, Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law, The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. He is also a fellow of the American College of Trusts and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). Mr. VandenBerg provides a full range of legal services in the areas of:
Mr. VandenBerg has lectured on various areas of estate planning and estate and trust administration, conservatorships and related matters and has developed particular expertise in advising clients regarding the establishment of special needs trusts for disabled family members. Mr. VandenBerg is a member of the Silicon Valley Bar Association, the Palo Alto Area Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. He is a member of the Santa Clara County Bar Association and served on the Probate and Trust Law Executive Committee as a member, and then as Chair of the committee in 1977-1978. He also served on the Probate Consulting Group to the California State Board of Legal Specialization, where he was a member from 1977-1988. Mr. VandenBerg is a member of the Professional Advisor League/Valley Council of the Silcion Valley Community Foundation. He is
a founding member of the California CPA Society and the Peninsula ABC Council of the California CPA Society. He recently served as a member
of the Board of Directors of St. Francis High School, Mountain View,
California, (2000-2006) and as Chair of the Board of Directors, 2005-2006. He also serves on the Whitman College,
Walla Walla, Washington, Planned Giving Advisory Council. He served
on the Planned Giving Council of the Lucile Salter Packard Children’s
Hospital at Stanford from1994-1999 and as Vice Chair of its successor, The Planned
Giving Council of the Lucile Salter Packard Foundation for Children’s
Health, and as a member of the Children’s Discovery Museum of San Jose, Board
of Directors and as Chair of the Legal/Finance committee of the Board
from 1985-1987. |
